Ministry centered on CHRIST

The ministries of our church focus on helping God's people grow. Spiritual growth is normative for believers since we are attached to Jesus who produces fruit in us. When Christians encounter the truth our minds are transformed and we are conformed to the image of Christ.

Motivated by Love

Discipleship focused

For the Christian, discipleship permeates all of life and impacts every relationship. All of us need help to know, love, trust and obey Jesus as we ought. As a result, discipleship never ends and it can't be entirely accomplished in formal church ministry events.

So we sacrificially love one another and prioritize spending time together for achieving spiritual benefits. We pursue intentional, edifying conversations around dining room tables, on living room sofas, in coffee shops and pew chairs and anywhere else that life intersects.

This approach to ministry utilizes the spiritual gifts of many saints rather than relying on a few. And it greatly expands the breadth and depth of a church's overall ministry impact.

Life Groups

These home bible studies offer a place to fellowship around the Word and deepen spiritually meaningful relationships with others. You can jump in at any time. More information below.

Prayer

The early church was devoted to prayer (Acts 2:42). We meet Sunday mornings before the morning worship service for prayer and then once each month we gather as a church for an extended time of prayer.

Approved Workmen

A church will never grow beyond the spiritual maturity of the men in the ministry. AW gathers every Tuesday morning for leadership training. All men are welcome. We open the Bible and reason through the Scripture applying truth to doctrine and life.

Women's Ministry

The bulk of women's ministry takes place life-on-life through intentional relationships. But there are also several events each year and then various book studies that meet in homes each month.

Adventure Club

Every Sunday night through the school year, the children (4 yrs - 5th grade) take part in a kids club program that emphasizes bible memory and the systematic instruction of doctrine from a reformed perspective.

Student Ministries

On Sunday nights our youth gather for a time of singing, games and laughter, faithful Bible teaching, and then prayer and small group time. It is a great place for teens to be challenged in their walk, grow in the truth and develop godly friendships.

Life Groups

These home bible study groups are an opportunity for discipleship and fellowship.
Groups gather every other week on Wednesday nights. Teachers guide an accurate and thoughtful discussion around the truth.
